As soon as I saw his signing announced I knew he was scoring! He looked really sharp in the first-half, worked really nicely with McKay. Exactly what ICT needed.

What better way to spend Christmas Day than by listening to over an hour of lower league chat?
A real all timer of a conversation with Max last night.
Incredibly proud of everyone associated with @dumbartonfc.bsky.social. The start of a brighter new era.
I've been saying that for years ๐ซก
I'd say you're spot on in everything you say there! It's exactly what the club needed, but seeing the outpouring of support is really incredible.
Statement from the Sonstrust this morning, as members give the green light to a ยฃ10k donation - getting close to 75k raised in just a few days now.

I'm hopeful that my optimism isn't blindly misplaced. But I've spoken to people I'd class as far more pessimistic than me, and they are seeming far more upbeat than (for example) this time a fortnight ago. That gives me hope!
Thanks!
I bloody well hope it is. I'm done in!
Sons have been a major part of my life basically forever. From a fan going to games with my dad, Granda and Papa, through to DFC being my route into journalism - and ultimately my job. I can't really picture life without the club.
If you can, give us a wee hand.

I promise that this is the last you'll hear from me this week on what's happened at DFC โ๏ธ
๐คฃ Especially when the TV show is on ๐คฃ
If you simply haven't heard enough from me yet, then I was on the BBC Sport Scotland Football Podcast this morning. And you can listen to that here.
Two more podcast appearances today and then I'm hopefully back into my quiet life of occasional Terrace cameos ๐๐ผ

Cheers mate ๐ค I think if this shows one thing, it's that - whatever comes next - the supporters have to be at the heart of it.
I'm off work this week. But given everything that's kicked off I've written this โ๏ธ

Statement from the Sonstrust
This makes a lot of sense. 300k from that (the first payment) was owed in 2023's accounts I think?
The Sons of the Railway stuff ended in about 2021/22 iirc when the club alienated a fair whack of important people and sponsors.
C&G are back on board now mind you. But alienating a major backer was kind of a sign of what was coming...!
I think they should be, aye? (Although I've no idea, and I would've put them up!) If you search Fraser Clarke Daily Record Brabco or Fraser Clarke Daily Record Henning then I think they should all be there somewhere!
I'd also say, the Sonstrust are coming in for a fair bit of heat. But if it wasn't for them then I don't think any of these articles would've even been out there.
Obviously there's been a fair bit of interest in what's happening at Dumbarton. And I've seen a lot saying it's come out of the blue. But it hasn't.
Hauled together some background reading for you all.
Going to have League One (B) between just the two clubs!
My phone has gone red hot this evening. I have missed the entire Scotland game. And I'm not even working.
So plz, simply tune in to this when it's out later in the week and I'll try to explain as much as I can!
I don't know what colours I associated with Moto2 and Moto3. But it definitely wasn't these ones.
Don't massively mind the new logos generally. They are fine. All looks like offshoots of WorldWCR really.
Incredible. Alonso against Acosta in a few years is going to be sensational.
My great-granda (who I never met) taking my dad to games in the 70s is to blame. He was from Greenock and lived in Clydebank. Nobody in the family is quite sure why he was a DFC fan. But here we are.
Smiled at Kolo Toure in the bakery aisle of Waitrose. He smiled back and did a wee nod.
