Doesn't sound at all negative to me. There's a lot we don't know, some of which we might eventually figure out!
IMHO, if you're going to make lazy AI stereotypical representations of this paper, you should really commit.

I'm glad my paper could be helpful. Differential maternal provisioning could certainly have contributed. It would be very interesting to better understand the genetic basis for the behavioral differences in maternal care.
I'm delighted you enjoy it. Thanks!

It is indeed! We conclude that these kinds of demographic processes could certainly contribute to the observations, but probably don't explain all of it. I'm very pleased to hear you enjoy our work.
No worries! I appreciate the opportunity to clarify.
We don't assume anything was consensual. The preferences expressed could well have been entirely one-sided.
Two versions of 'Distracted Boyfriend' memes depicting a male Neanderthal being distracted by a modern human female and a modern human female being distracted by a male Neanderthal in a red dress.

There's also a real aspect to it of a drive to become the new gatekeepers of human knowledge. If the only reasonable way to access the collective understanding of *things* is through the oracle, the oracle keepers can make bank!
(maybe even "early modern human")
Pedantic reply: "Early hominins" would be creatures from several million years ago and resemble the common ancestor of chimps and humans. This is a tool from an archaic human. Human geneticists commonly misuse the term.

Hotdogs being dragged through the garden!
Very cool. Any way to tell if the different patterns are related to maternal v. paternal inheritance?
Andreessen's kids could go to any elite school they want. The system has plenty of slop to accommodate the children of the ultra-wealthy. They just don't like minorities.
