Yeah, it's not pretty there at the moment. However, I suspect it isn't entirely representative of where they will be for 2027 with the new rules and tires.
Not sure it'd be in their team contracts, since Michelin is a series supplier and doesn't sponsor any individual riders or teams. But maybe MotoGP has a rule? Either way, my point is that he was able to say something that sounds even more pointed, to my ears.
Losing Bennetts was such a crushing blow. Having the tobacco biz step in to "rescue" the series... Was that really the only solution? Are they going to give away free sample products for kids in the pits like team Haribo Starmix did back in 2018?

That was something else. I had to play back the media clip on Motogp.com to check if I'd heard him correctly the first time. It almost sounds worse to say "an external supplier" than to have just straight up said "the tire".

Maybe the foreshortening of the telephoto lens made it look scarier than it was. Looked like the stretcher was just clearing the track as the riders were barely slowed into the scene.
