Seems like Tesla is trying to target traditionally EV sceptic customer groups lately.

Why? I certainly prefer electric 'fumes' then gas when commuting in the city.
True, though electric SUVs would have a larger impact on decreasing air pollution as well.
Felt similarly initially, then tried them and they are so much fun!
Made it super easy to find great EV chargers with your favourite brands nearby. Here searching for 'Starbucks' charge points near my estimated recharge stop.
Nice has a version with a decent ac charging speed as well. Many new EVs in Europe are AC limited to 7kW or so.
Perfect, didn't know about that!
Public charging has also gotten quite expensive in Europe at least. EVs are still super fun to drive though!
Will need to ensure they can quick charge and limit capacity loss in low temperatures.
Not quite sure about that, they are already at 80+ percent in Norway for example and 10 to 15 in many EU countries.
They always seemed quite sceptical about EVs. Hopefully they will not run into difficulties because of that.
At some of them, Fastned and Tesla do this in Europe at least. Pretty sure this will become present everywhere with a bit of time.
I've added the ability to see both electric vehicle chargers and hotels to Electro App. Makes it easy to find places where you can recharge the car overnight.
As most cars are stationary most of the time often there is no need to charge them quickly. Makes it easier to balance grid usage.
The majority of EVs seem to be SUV like currently. Helps manufacturers comply with emission legislation I suspect.
Nice, will add it to the Electro App.
They are surprisingly fun to drive. Been using one for the last 5 years. Nice for both the highway where they are super smooth to drive and the city. Charging infrastructure is key as a lot of people get anxious about it.
They are all over Europe already, actually look and apparently work decently.
That probably isn't the best client group to impress with EVs then. With that in mind quick chargers have the potential to bring a lot of drivers to a given area so could possibly help revitalise many of these communities if some nice amenities would be located near them.
Yeah, really hate when they do this. Sometimes you can get lower rates if you change the insurer. There might be price compare website similar to moneysupermarket which could help.
I can imagine, it is tricky in the early days. With a bit of support infrastructure can be built out very quickly though. These days EV drivers are pretty much spoilt for choice in Europe. Can easily select charge stops based on your favourite amenity brands for example.๐
Partially might be due to gas car ban being delayed.
I think it was a problem with that particular station, but yeah not a great situation.
That is true, some can be sketchy, actually working on fixing that.
Or just charge on public networks ๐
Then you just use a public charger, so many of those around these days.
Might as well enjoy it if you need to drive it long!
Things were like that in the UK, but then the last 2 years EV growth had been massive. Will happen in Florida also. Might as well get one now and take advantage of all the free charging opportunities. These will disappear.
Home charging is actually much more convenient than visiting the gas station.
They are really not much fun to drive.
