I think our chat yesterday here washed away the last of my resolve, and I just bought the game.
I still don't love playing on a laptop, but it's wonderful to visit the spire again.
That's annoying.
Maybe try an online pdf editor?
Soothsayers has now hit beta on BGA!

I did the coding on this one myself and would be happy to answer any questions anyone might have related to that.

I did beat it on ascension level 20 for all the characters, so yeah, a lot of hours.
But I'm not really a PC gamer, because PCs feel to me like work machines, whereas phones and consoles are fun machines.
But the siren's song is calling...
I currently have the same plan.
But I feel the pull to jump in now.
I feel like you owe a bigger apology to Europeans for measuring Europe's biggest game convention in the most American of freedom units.

Your horse video is my favorite thing I've seen on the internet in about 3 years
Now I need to go watch it again
There's never been a video that so perfectly summed up the 3 archetypes of the Democratic Party:
1. The Compromised
2. The Confused
3. The Courageous

Bigger cards coming soon!
Study the finalists' videos from previous years. I guarantee you'll be able to easily identify the hooks that made those games rise above all the other very competently designed games.
I've just finished my @cardboardedison.com judging, and here's my final ๐ฒโ๏ธ observation:
The competition is strong. Nearly every game I reviewed was competently designed. How do you stand out?
HOOKS! Make sure you have crystal clear and awesome theme, mechanic, and/or component hooks.
Makes sense. I'll see if I can bump up the default size or add an option in user preferences to display larger cards.
Do you mean the font in the images of the cards?
One possible solution is to increase the card sizes, but I worry about screen real estate.
Good luck! Hit me up if you have any questions.
