I did. She still wasn't happy. Now, if I could just be on hand 24/7 it would be fine, but as I keep leaving (you know, for work and silly things like that), Killì would like a ramp. And some grapes. And cheese. And a lullaby. And more cheese.

The only downside is that it will put a trip hazard right in front of the path that I walk, and I am seriously clumsy

Made a temp run for the chooks so that the garden gets a rest. They seem to like it! Big coop, old run, trees, lots to scratch in, and they can get into the garage to lay eggs.

She's doing great, all things considering. Her and Sky celebrated their fifth birthday this month (3.5 years as retired garden hens).

Our vet sucks. They have refused to see chickens for about 18 months now (they say it's cos of bird flu, but I think they see them as "cheap" and not worth the small £). It does mean I can ask for whatever i want and they dispense it to me at cost.
