I’m here to support taking this acronym back
I’m personally channeling my 1980s angsty “the-world-is-ending-so-I-might-as-well-drink-and-sneer-while-listening-to-punk” era right about now
SUITING UP FOR VEGAS!
You DICE-bound? Let’s do drive-by high fives and catch up!
(Gotta remain cryptic, but I got fun stuff to show ya!)
….AND A WORK UPDATE: While I am working on a personal project, I also have some #OpenToWork slots after my recent run in the VR/XR space.
But those are the VERY BEST shaders. Aged to perfection.
That picture from Firaxicon, though. Man, that sends me back. Wish I coulda made it to that. (was stuck back at the office.)
By my count you owe 54 stories at this point, Kyle.
Also, I regret clearing house of my badges ages ago. So many over the years, could've easily fully wallpapered my office. (would've wound up looking like Charlie's wall, here.)
This is really an interesting list, right here. But there are a couple glaring omissions I'd have expected....and some here that I didn't even know exist.
Just outta curiosity, how much is video output factored in here?
Would absolutely love to have a reunion!
(Side Note: my kid has been begging me to drop you and Cesar a line about playing Fortnite!)
Thanks, man!! I’ve have this gang of songs in my head for MONTHS. Now I get to infect it on other Switch players.
A game that I’ve been working on shadow-drops TODAY: Synth Riders for the Nintendo Switch!
Think Guitar Hero x Tony Hawk x TRON.
It's got a gang of songs, PvP, a shared-screen couch co-op mode, a campaign, and a boss battle.
Appreciate any #indiegame love!

First, that sucks (about it getting swiped). As for the fitting, I’m guessing it might’ve been because I got an early review unit back then….? I dunno. Just thought it was odd. Regardless, fun memories.
Was digging through stuff for cleanup today and coincidentally stumbled across this promo gem from E3 2005.
Ironically, this promo plate didn’t fit on the final X360 at launch. Happy 360versary, XBOX.
Congrats to you and EVERYONE at Digital Eclipse that had a hand in putting this together. I know I mentioned this to Chris over the weekend, but I've come to love the interactive museum's worth of content the team puts into these collections. I will continue buying Every. Single. One.
gg, man
Ok, got a lol outta me….
In an odd way, this kind of reminds me of the feelings I had when I first saw Sonic appearing in the Nintendo games after Sega left the hardware biz.
Nice job, Nic! Great episode!
Agree on hoping I can bump it up more in a patch or two, but I’ve always logged in the back of my head the handheld threshold.
I mean would 4K in my hands be awesome? yes. But I’m okay with what’s here, fiddling with settings to play for now.
(Meanwhile, too busy w/ Ball X Pit.)
Mind you, I’m using the ROG Ally X (not the Xbox flavor) and Keeper is running at 40fps, medium settings.
Fine by me for handheld.
Love that @owlcatgames.bsky.social just released a whole bunch of curated resources for aspiring game devs.

I may be the one person on the planet that wants to play BF6’s campaign, but I hate the fact I have to be online-connected for that.
As someone that’s worked on several server-bound games that have solo campaigns in ‘em, this is so damn dumb.
(Tangent: At least it’s running decent on ROG Ally X.)
5/5 corgis?
As much as I love my SD OLED (and tweaking the hell out of it to the point of learning some Linux) there's still some games that are running better / easier for me on a ROG ALLY X.
That said, fully agree. Next gen Valve device can't come soon enough. (Deckard or whatever!)
I've never laughed so hard playing a game...but also never uninstalled a game so quickly. It's DEFINITELY fun in doses, but holy shit, the time required to walk several steps...? With my game time available, I just had to bounce to other stuff.
Hey @grubb.wtf — what’s the best way to drop you a line these days? (Just realized we aren’t connected here)
I watch those commercials and play “side effects bingo” with my family.
It’s actually pretty impressive what people will try to sneak past you with these soothing visuals as they describe everything from certain death to explosive diarrhea as side effects.
Twisted Metal / retro racing fans? I got you....
Check out FUMES.
