Good going forward. Dreadful when run at. Worrying for Saturday. Nkeng needs a start in Lg 1 or a good 35mins as a sub.

The future of Thames Water hangs in the balance.
Thanks @graceblakeley.substack.com for highlighting just how important this deal is.

Ofwat must say NO to Thames Water - email now: weownit.org.uk/act-now/ofwa...

@skysportpl.bsky.social Ever thought about providing a decent service for EFL Lgs1 and 2. Spent 90 per cent of tonight's match with no service. But no expense spared for the PL eh? Do something properly or not at all.

Yep. Trying to watch in the pub. All the EFL Lg 1 and 2 games down. Sky have billions for about 30 pundits per game but sweet FA for anything else. Pitiful.

I agree to a certain extent. He has the best technique I've seen for a guy who's played so little long-format cricket but the hype (from within the Eng camp and picked up by pundits is mad). He should have been gaining more experience and getting some long innings behind him in the CC.

β€œWhere has this rise in Reform votes come from?” asks the same media who wank themselves into a frenzy at every single utterance from Nigel Farage.

Difficult one. I was watching in the pub. First replay of it I thought no pen. Second time, could make out it probably hit his arm. Certainly not intentional but he's practically on the goalline. Put it this way: the kind of pen we'd hardly ever get and never at that point in the game.

Could have been worse: if Lewis pulled Smith's shirt he denied him a clear scoring opportunity - a straight red and considering he was booked in the first five mins, shd have been a second yellow at least Still O'Toole made up for that. I'm not sure I can watch any more of this brainless shit.

The Maycock one was unfathomable. I was about twice the distance away from it as the ref and linesman and it was as clear as day. I'd love to know which bar bars Wimbledon tops. Is it all football tops?

Most recent edition a really good quality read. One question: have you considered a letters page for the print edition or would that require too many man hours or add a layer of complication?

What's going on, Charlie doesn't seem the least bit bothered that Vlod's not wearing a suit. I guess Vlod knows the king likes a bit of gardening and thought he might have to get his fingers green...

I can't remember when I left most of my jobs now - an oversight of six months hardly seems the personification of evil. I try to back the BBC but it is becoming more and more absurd in its coverage of politics and world events...
