fortunately the only thing I ran into was the pausing issue but I also mostly just testing entering and leaving the level :p
I never got the spawning underground thing to happen, tho sometimes I could do a ground pound on loading the hard level with a turbo button so maybe I spawned a bit higher?
ah yeah probably was on my side, I was trying to get the spawn underground thing to happen in weirder ways so I limited my framerate to 20fps, which combined with the dying causes the pausing to stop working (also makes level name slower?)
idk if that framerate is realistic though :p
I was getting it consistently yesterday but today it seems to be fixed 😅 apologies, I'll see if I can replicate it later or if it was something on my end
if you enter a level and die within like 5 seconds then you can't enter the pause menu anymore
easiest to test in the hard level but doable if you enter easy level with 1 heart

I will say getting this to happen naturally without actively trying to break things is pretty unlikely with how specific it is but hopefully it's easy to fix/related to the other one 😅

do you mean when it when it's like this? I can get into this state inconsistently, but with a method if that makes sense
if you roll slightly into an entrance, then roll out, it'll send you inside anyway
if you drop an anvil just before it sends you inside, and it doesn't hit I leave in this state

There's a pretty major bug in the game right now where exiting levels can cause you to spawn below the floor in extremely rare scenarios.
I cannot consistently replicate this, if anybody finds a way it would be a massive help.
