Family walk

Hey Bluesky! A lot has changed since I last wrote. Here’s my little human celebrating his first month 🎂

I am now fully switching to baby waiting mode. Wish me luck, I’ll see you once mini-me is here :) (4/4)

I feel I was enabled, and I feel I was supported as never so far. I feel I was given a lot of trust, and I did not take that lightly. I worked a lot, but I worked with pleasure. This year doubled down on that, and it was brilliant. It was honest work. (3/4)

It’s now also three years of leading - which correlates with the Battlefield 2042’s 3rd birthday. I went through the initial push to turn things around, and was definitely molded in fire. That said, it’s been a while since I started focusing on the next big thing. (2/4)

A bit more, and I will be wrapping up my work for the year. The baby is coming any day now, and December will be fully dedicated to my new family. Looking back at my work year, it was a success. I believe I managed to apply my experience and learnings well. (1/4)

A platform is as strong as the people using it. That said, it’s clear to me that Bluesky has really good chances of lifting off, this time for real.
Great to see there’s — again —a space offering pure content. No agendas, no super smart algorithms - just pure uncurated content. Love it!

My baptism by fire, in all aspects possible. Taking on the lead role straight after release and pushing with the rest of the team to turn the ship in the right direction was challenging, to say the least.
Am I ready now? I think I am.

Ghost of Tsushima

Being a game developer is both a blessing and a curse. I don’t remember the last time I enjoyed a good visual effect or technical feat without stressing out knowing how hard it was to make it. My admiration for a good piece of digital art is bigger then ever before.
