I’m really very eclectic in my music. I enjoy most music except twangy racist country music and misogynistic rap/hip hop. The music I dislike actively for its actual sound is improvisational jazz because discordant sounds are a sensory trigger for me. I just find the music that I default to is metal

I’m struggling to define myself (I know defining myself is not required but I have the “must label and understand everything” ‘tisms). I was goth as a teen. I went “normal” b/c an abusive spouse forced it. Went back to goth in my 40’s. But honestly I listen more to metal and rock than postpunk. 😵‍💫
