spent the last 3 days catching up on IDW bc i never read past the first 12 issues, for the most part i've been pleasantly surprised?? i've got my issues with it but it's been improving throughout. love evan stanley's amy :)

i've mostly been pleasantly surprised by how much i've liked ian's work here i think he's pretty damn good at writing most the cast and even his sonic has drastically improved since the start but i just don't like how he writes amy at all.

sonic is asking her to DINNER. she should be FREAKING OUT. evan stanley nailed this on her very first issue

realistically it would've just been 4 acts of green hill with random sonic 1 bosses in acts 2 and 3 like the other games were (sonic 2 was all emerald hill but act 2 and 3 had the chemical plant and aquatic ruin bosses with the final one being the actual emerald hill boss)

that would've required designing 4 more levels and i dont think the devs wanted to play their shitass game anymore either

the only other round i remember from the dream was an 06 sonic story race which i won

i just had a dream that i was somehow invited to a sonic tournament hosted by someone with multiple million subscribers and the host said they didnt have high hopes for me but i maintained a tied first place til the final round where i had to fight a Serperior in Sonic the Fighters

Tails' Skypatrol (1995)
this was not nearly as good as tails adventure. it was sometimes kinda difficult to tell what was solid and what wasnt which is bad in a game where touching anything solid kills you instantly. also the third level was the easiest by far for some reason???
