100%! "AI" is an automation technology, and what it's automating is the already existing harms. Deepfakes existed but are now trivial; racist social media bots existed but are now everywhere; surveillance existed but is now being analysed by algorithms with no conception of truth.
We're just finishing up production on season 2, so if all goes according to plan, this episode should drop mid-March!

I must have misunderstood your original comment. 😅 I thought you were pointing to the use of the word Luddite as if I was using it in the vulgar sense of "one who hates technology". As you say, the label of Luddite is very apt for teachers who want to keep harmful tech out of their classrooms.

I was very much using "AI Hater" in the @anthonymoser.com-ian sense of the word (anthonymoser.github.io/writing/ai/h...), but I totally see how this could be read in the way you describe.
We are exactly looking for folks who are informed and (rightly) sceptical.
