I actually think it has more to do with proving we can tax the rich and meets the moment.

I really enjoy Not Quite Quorum for its engaging look into Iowa City government through the conversations of councilors Laura Bergus and Oliver Weilein. This episode gets into ethics and moral courage, which made me very happy: open.spotify.com/episode/5mxq...
This is a dumb debate to still be having on all side. It wasnβt even close to swinging the election. Framing it in terms of the election just gives us more cause to in-fight over unproductive premises instead of seeking solidarity over solutions.
CONCLUSIONS In our sample of 650,173 COVID cases among active-duty military personnel, a total of 278,278 were identified as having post-COVID-19 syndrome (42.8%). Of these, 273,405 reported post-COVID symptoms in at least two visits (42.1%). Our findings showed that the top three symptoms of post-COVID-19 syndrome in military personnel are related to pulmonary, neurological, and fatigue issues. Mild to moderate cases of this syndrome could leave military personnel with long-term deficits in their overall fitness and readiness. This readiness is a critical aspect of military effectiveness, ensuring that personnel can respond rapidly and decisively to threats. Thus, continued assessment and potential treatments are needed to assist active-duty military personnel to improve their overall health outcomes.
Oh look, the πΊπΈ military concludes over 40% of COVID infections lead to Long COVID, among a population sample that is all adults, & on average in better physical condition & younger than the national/global population.

looking to report on folks with Long COVID in US prisons. if you have a penpal or loved one inside, it would be awesome if you can ask them if they know anyone who suspects they have it!
if you know someone or have an idea where I might look, my signal is @freeze.16 and email rebelprof@proton.me
Breathing exercises were instrumental for me in the beginning as a treatment but they arenβt complicated enough to monetize and trying to follow a program costs energy. Iβm not sure what their value proposition is.
I feel that avocados might not convey the seriousness of the weather conditions.
I wish we would have kept him at that price.
I sometimes mute mutuals because my blusky is very curated and if you post a lot it will take over my feeds, even if I like the content I want to hear from more people.
Good ones to rule out.
Can anyone point me to a resource on how sign "Long COVID" in American Sign Language? I've seen various ways from spelling it out, to using the sign for "Coronavirus" or "COVID-19" followed by "Long" or "Stay". I'm curious if there is any official guidance/recommendations. Many thanks π
Someone has serious dirt on this guy.
Gambling turns people into objects. It will never be good for society.
Does Juice have the Juice to be our center of the future? Heβs still young and supposedly had a good rookie year but has looked meh since. Have you heard anything to give you optimism a change of scenery will elevate his game?
I have had similar experiences with medical professionals. Itβs mind blowing.
Concerned about Iowa's cancer rates? At our upcoming conference on March 21, Cody Smith's workshop, "Understanding Iowaβs High Cancer Rates & Environmental Risk Factors," will bring you up to speed on the essentials. Iowa has one of the highest and fastest-rising cancer rates in the nation.

No. Itβs the more progressive one. Which is slightly left of center.
Oh: The pastor of a sprawling UMC church, Rev. Adam Hamilton, *may* jump into the Kansas Senate race as an independent.
If he *were* to enter the race and win, he'd unseat Sen. Roger Marshall, a Republican who objected to PA and AZ's 2020 electoral votes. www.greatplainsumc.org/newsdetail/r...
Hamilton is an elite salesman whose values would squarely put him in the middle of the democratic caucus. Heβs exceptional at raising money and support. As a politician he would rarely take risks.
I would have just blocked them first. That seems to be the culture here and Iβm down with it. When enough people do it, it will marginalize the posers.
I started sleeping with a mask after long Covid.
Higher pressures for longer sessions and timelines lead to better outcomes would be my tdlr.
All the hbot studies come back mixed which is hard considering how expensive it is. We need to actually see how itβs affecting some of the known biomarkers I think. Or it just need clearer results.
the republican party line is, fairly explicitly, "we will kill your children if you don't vote for us because we know you won't kill our children if we don't vote for you," and the appropriate response to the existence of such a political party is to outlaw it
Our federal government killed a disabled genocide survivor and is covering up for a child rapist. And that is just todayβs news. It is just unconscionable to be treating this as normal or acceptable in any way.

Wouldnβt he also have to offer rental assistance? A moratorium wouldnβt be enough when people have no way to make money. The bill would come due as soon as the moratorium is over.

There are a dozen new studies it seems testing cocktails, so researchers must have gotten the memo.
I have around 5 hours of productive time a day and still try to count myself lucky.
Phase 2 study though so there must be some early results somewhere.
