I'm about to either commit a culinary atrocity, or have a stroke of (delicious) genius and I'm not sure which.
I'm so incredibly grateful to have the ability to travel the world thanks to flight benefits from my partner. Currently on my way to Amsterdam to attend a dear friend's wedding on the 5th.
Time to go to the zoo! The foil Lorcana card they're giving out on opening day is so cool! :3
Genuine question. If you are from a country where the government wants you gone, what's so bad about wanting to go out on your own terms instead of at the hands of someone else?
In ILS we trust.
The cool thing about living in Seattle? Having test flights of new aircraft over your house being a relatively common occurrence.
If I have any Mexican friends, please shoot me a message. I would like to create an Ofrenda for a pet, and would appreciate some help.
Girl math says this 5mi run is basically the same as my 5km run last week. I'm happy that I was able to keep my pace under 15:00!
Screenshot of a Facebook post featuring three of the Portland protesters wearing inflatable frog costumes with the following text: Episcopalians on Facebook Elizabeth Rose Elrod โข 22h โข Exodus 8:2-6 "But if you refuse to let them go, I will plague your whole country with frogs... Being staff at Eurofurence kept me too busy to run while in Germany, so this baby two mile run was my first in about a week and a half. Not bad for being able to hold onto an overall 14:30 pace.
Coworkers: Hey Scarlett! Welcome back! How was Germany?
Me: I wish I was back in Europe.
Work: Haha vacation was that good, eh?
Me: I would prefer to be back in a place where my basic human rights aren't being threatened by the government based on my identity.
Last official drink of the con! Eurofurence has been an absolute blast! Already planning for Eurofurence 30 next year!
Mental health took a nosedive all of a sudden. Back at my hotel to try and see if I can nap this feeling away because this is bad.
I think I am seeing my first aurora borealis and oh my goodness I am starstruck at the beauty.
Next stop, Amsterdam!
Five mile run done! My Garmin's route tool errored out at mile 2, so I had to plan the last three miles on the fly. xD
At what point do you decide that the problems caused by the treatment for your disability outweighs the benefits of said treatment?
