`npm pay`
when enabled, takes your $N/month and distributes it according to some rules you've setup.
eg: the more times your npm installs packageXYZ, the more money it gets from your pool
Developers did 22K pushups while coding last year.
We'll do more this year.

Makes you wonder how John Carmack got so jacked...
Developers,
I made this tool to force myself to get off the coding chair.
If you're on Product Hunt today, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I only gave "Pure Heroine" a shot, but just discovered her predecessor. tiiiiiight

hey developers,
I made an app that blocks my code if I don't do regular pushups. Would love your feedback!

Anyway, if you're a developer, I'd love for you to try it out and if you add it to your daily routine, LMK! โ๏ธ
but best of all, it feels great.
Before making the app:
I could do 30 consecutive pushups with good form, now I'm doing 50!
Why does this work?
It's based on two principles:
1. "Habit stacking" -- you are already coding, so add another habit
2. "Greasing the groove" -- you can build strength via frequent, sub-maximal effort reps
It seems silly but it you do get stronger and pretty soon your juicy pectorals will start approving their own pull-requests
It works like this:
1. Download the app
2. Install the .git hook
3. Go about your coding day
If you don't do pushups, your code gets blocked

I have a new app I'm building and I can't be more proud of my "you need to grant permissions" state
not sure if there is a bad remix:
