Fantasy author and RPG writer Jean Rabe has passed away. She was known for her work at TSR and the RPGA, but she also worked on WEG’s Star Wars d6 RPG. In Galaxy Guide 12, Rabe wrote up several alien species including cover model Ephant Mon’s Chevin (with other aliens by @infinata.bsky.social).

A pretty crazy and productive 2025 at FANGORIA. Here is everything I worked on that got printed. We have a great team and it’s been a joy to work with everyone at Fango. Pretty wild stuff and excited for what new projects I get to work on in 2026.

It was truly so good. I went in with low expectations so I wouldn’t disappoint myself.

This is true and I was the only one on set excited about it (and playing the song on my phone to blank stares)

Don’t worry, I like you. (You should watch EEPHUS—baseball movie, really great.)

My review at the time speaks for itself.

Highlights of the year include discovering George Wylesol, listening to David Lynch and Al Pacino’s audiobook narrations, and finally reading 11/22/63–perhaps the best book I’ve read in years.

It’s not much, but it’s decent.
