I can't believe it.

I've been sober for 7 years!!!

Yesterday, I saw this on marketplace and started crying because it all came back. I messaged the seller and set up a time to purchase him.

As soon as I had him in my hands, I couldn't stop smiling.

Fievel is now at my home and little Jennifer is a smidgen more healed.

I LOVED this doll. It was one of the toys I had at my father's house. I have never been mad at him since, but little Jennifer was destroyed when my younger brother, (who was 1 year old) tore my doll apart. I cried and cried. I think my father tried to buy me a new one but it was never *mine* again.

So this is Fievel. He is the star of the animated movie "An American Tail." I watched this movie so many times as a child. Then, little Jennifer was gifted a toy of this exact type.

So, here I am...at the end of 2025...actually reaching a goal that I set for myself because it did nothing other than bring me joy and expand my heart and mind.

I DID IT!!!

I set a goal for myself of 50 books this year without truly believing I could do it. I feel good about this in a way I can't explain. If you've known me for more than 5 seconds, you know how much I love to read. Life, however, took that from me for a long time and it really hurt.
