Well, I salute you and your family for your sacrifice. In the end, war truly is unnecessary. Man just makes it happen. I’ve learned and accepted that. It was a tough thing to process. Almost all wars (except for WWII) were mostly profit driven enterprises that caused the people to suffer.

Let me be a little more clear. America lost many men and they contributed a lot, but they weren’t the deciding factor. As a JTF2 tactical vet, I can come across a bit harsh or cold when it comes to active duty death. I don’t mean to be. I’m just saying that America has always been a bit delusional.

It’s unfortunate that they don’t teach the truth about many things in America. It’s selective and has only gotten worse. America wasn’t the deciding factor in any war, except for Independence. Even in WWII, most of them drowned before they got to shore on D-Day. They put too much in their packs.

I understand. We are just built differently here. WWI and WWII showed that (read about how much the Germans feared the Canadians troops).
