Inspired by the cosmos. Born from the flames of raku. A symphony of light and movement captured.

'Skyfire' draws it inspiration from the shimmery irridescent greens, reds, golds and violets of the northern lights.

When you threaten all your long term allies and trading partners to the point their citizens boycott US products and everyone is afraid to visit because of fascist policy, this was inevitable. Just sad so many will be hurt by this foolishness.

A creation forged from potter's dreams.

From earth and flame its power is cast
Ancient breath in clay held fast.

Awwww. That's adorable. Definitely we need a dog nebula. I'll have to see if there is one and if I can ever capture it.

We definitely can compare notes! No robins so far. It was -22 the other day, then plus 5 yesterday. Very big temperature swings lately. Grateful for more daylight though!

An image of the monkey head nebula (ngc2175). You can see numerous stars and an orange reddish cloud that some say resembles a monkey head.

The stars still inspire, even when the world gets me down.

Fortunately we had clear skies for about an hour one night last week.
