It's spring break. My son is working on his robot for FIRST Robotics in the living room with one of his teammates. I am flabbergasted at the lingo, intelligence, and concepts coming out of his mouth about things that *I* did not teach him. What what?
"Friends" and "Big Bang Theory" really gave me unrealistic expectations of what a close friend group is like. WDYM I just can't show up at besties house every night and are there for each other in a moments notice?
Leaving my son's high school today a teacher held the door open for me and said "Let's act like a baby and head out"
