Asmodee takes control of Lord of the Rings tabletop gaming, with implications for The One Ring RPG Asmodee and Middle-earth Enterprises announce a new deal that puts the tabletop giant in charge of all Tolkien games, including managing the license for Free League's "The One Ring" RPG.

Fans of Free League's The One Ring roleplaying game will be watching closely. The publisher's license for the popular RPG now falls under the management of its direct competitor, Asmodee, in a new deal for the Middle-earth license.
