I can grasp it intellectually and explain it, but not at all relate. Very weak, and incredibly weird.
O cinismo de Montenegro é
o de quem, vindo de fora de Lisboa, conhece o país. Quando chama extremistas aos manifestantes de ontem sabemos a quem quer chegar: à multidão que ao longe imagina uma capital a ferro e fogo, disputada entre comunistas e nazis como a Berlim de Weimar. Ele é o nosso Ebert.
Perante a incapacidade de criar políticas que façam alguma diferença na vida das pessoas, o governo entretém-se a criar problemas para depois inventar falsas soluções. Num país pacífico, acirra preconceitos, divide as pessoas, usa a máquina do Estado para violentar quem trabalha.
Sobre o Martim Moniz, aquela operação seria sempre dificilmente admissível, ao menos naqueles moldes. Tendo sido ordenada pelo Governo, é um atentado à democracia e aos direitos humanos. Ter o Primeiro-Ministro a gabar-se da operação em horário nobre demonstra que perdemos todos a noção.
