Mooi om te horen dat CDA Tweede Kamerlid @ellesvanark.bsky.social tijdens het debat over de Internationale Klimaatstrategie benadrukt dat succesvolle klimaatprojecten alleen werken als lokale gemeenschappen, in het bijzonder vrouwen, jongeren en inheemse gemeenschappen, betrokken worden.
🚨 Nederland moet méér doen voor vrouwenrechten.
In februari verscheen het langverwachte rapport van het CEDAW Comité, die toeziet op het VN-Vrouwenverdrag. De boodschap in het rapport is duidelijk: Nederland moet meer doen om discriminatie van vrouwen aan te pakken.
Historisch moment bij de VN-Vrouwentop (#CSW70): voor het eerst in 70 jaar werd er gestemd over het slotdocument. De Agreed Conclusions werden aangenomen met ruime meerderheid:
