Saw them around 2pm too, from north path.

When you use the phrase ‘new workings’ in your posts, what part of the reserve are you referring to? I was looking for some GSands today, but no luck 🫤

Had a peaceful walk around NCW today. Straight out of the car I saw a Water Rail in what I think you guys refer to Cell A? Snipe also in there. Always good to get off to a good start! Thanks for the continued sightings updates.

My first visit of the year. And what a lovely day for it! Didn’t get to see a Bittern, or Plovers, or Sandpipers! But it was nice to see so many Silkens, Greenfinch and Goldfinch. Lucky to see the Godwit! Was hoping for a Green Woodpecker, but had to settle for a GS one! Thanks for continued updates!

Great guided walk around the triangle with @spurnbirdobs.bsky.social Luke and Daisy yesterday at Spurn. I’m not new to Spurn or birding but still would recommend the walks to everyone. We didn’t see much, but that’s birdwatching sometimes! 2nd yr in a row the guides have been spot on.

#patchbirding #CromwellBottom at its frustrating best recently. 32 species each visit for last 3 weeks (Same core/ different randoms). Today was on 32 and decided to make effort to get my bins on a WillWarbler, to get that 33rd, then relocated GardenWarbler (not seen since 1st May) 😝 #YorkshireBirds

Disappointing #PatchBirding @Cromwell Bottom this morning. Less than 30, nothing new for month, year or patch! No sign of GarWarb, heard ReWarbs but didn’t see. Fair few common species alluded me. Highlight Sand Martins. #BirdTrack list: app.bto.org/birdtrack/pu... #YorkshireBirds #YorkshireBirding

Anyone got any tips on seeing this YBWarbler? I spent a fair while looking this morning. I was the only one present during my search around 8am. Barely saw anything let alone a YBW! Will have another go tomorrow! Cheers! @flamboroughbird.bsky.social

Self found Bee eater on the mosses and I almost never find anything! Genuinely can't believe I've seen this in Manchester! #ukbirding #birds

Any #YorkshireBirds birders also #NorfolkBirds birders? Got a few days end of May in North/East Norfolk (willing to travel south), and wondering if anyone can recommend a good day out? I’ve been before, but wondering if I’ve missed out anywhere? 🦅🦆🦢

I put ‘St Aiden’s’ into Waze after work… but as I left Leeds I opted give the birds a miss this afternoon. Sat in M62 traffic for over an hour… and now you show the world this video? 🤪
