There are many of those. Full build is pricey (because they use top components), unless you want everything to be ideal right from the start. Iβd go with a Ti frame with a cheap groupset (Cues, Microshift), and rest of parts of well established Chinese brands. Swap groupset later to smth wireless
Have you looked at some custom Titanium bike manufacturers? Possibly ordering just a frame then building the rest as you wish
After a decade of planning, editing, delays due to my own busyness, further editing and waiting for 23c, the release of 26ai and my pre-retirement finally unblocked the situation. I have agreed with Apress to publish the third edition of Troubleshooting Oracle Performance in 2026. #TOP3
You prefer a quick zoom call then?
Multiple copies of your data is called βbackupsβ.
Keep saying βon premiseβ instead of βon premisesβ. It was in a keynote.
Thatβs a lot of screens to watch cats
I felt like taking a closer look at this new datapatch feature and ended up making some interesting discoveries π

The new, improved, way to display less than 4KB of text on the shiny support.oracle.com
Are you talking about MOS? Should be renamed to Minimal Oracle Support now
Didnβt know @jolliffe.bsky.social is with long hair now!
You can get a few stack traces eith oradebug short_stack then check function meaning at orafun.info and most likely find the relevant fix_control to disable
Why is it still not on your avatar?
This is how your profile pic looks like in a Reading mode of Chrome on the phone - I find it quite funny considering the topic
It may look okay (I doubt so), yet functionality is totally broken.
It's not new to 26ai, but it's the first time we've described it in the docs. So if you're still thinking there's only an SGA and a PGA ... let me introduce you to the MGA

Actually, it would be a nice speakers gift. Without the beer, just a print.
There are literally two people on the pic :) need a better picture
π€¦ββοΈ- me every time keynote speaker says βon premiseβ. Three times so far.
Fully disagree. Returned a broken TV once. Zero questions asked, pick up from home in a few days, money returned quickly. Returns are something that Amazon excels at.
New scripts: vstat.sql & dstat.sql for showing Oracle Sysmetric history with 1-minute granularity (both from AWR and regular V$ views)

Added a blog update about the V$PROCESS_MEMORY_DETAIL auto-population for processes with PGA growth to over 500MB. Enabled in Oracle 19.18+, so no "oradebug dump pga_get_detail" needed, just query the V$ views for a detailed "heapdump":

As far as I remember itβs available via sql test case builder. Havenβt checked in a while.
Do not like that (also, the way to get the traces)
Missed some sessions at @OracleAIWorld? Here's the 2025 mega download of session content. Enjoy!

Any idea what the new (?) light blue color in the SQL Monitor reports mean? It's different between those displayed directly in the console, and the stored & opened ones. It looks as if it tries to show active steps, but does it incorrectly in the OCI console. 1 - in console, 2 - same rep stored
One good thing with a MacOS is ability to use iPad as a second monitor.
