We as activists must do a better job training new activists on resisting interrogations. About 90% of the people arrested at ICE went willingly to interrogation instead of refusing and remaining in the cell. We should role play the scenarios. Saying dont talk to cops isn't working.

Not gonna lie, living here in WA that has so many deep ties with Microsoft, Amazon, Starbucks and Boeing makes me think that we as a state need to collectively reckon with our labor propping up such pillars of unchecked power and greed.
A major coalition is launching a general strike in Minnesota tomorrow, aimed at pushing out ICE.

I know people keep saying this but it’s hard to communicate the depth of active resistance here. Like, I’m on random cafes and people are checking in for observation shifts. Signs everywhere. Folks in visibility vests on the corners. It’s wild. Absolutely wild.
This also goes for smaller Signal groups that say they are vetted by someone! If you don’t know every single person in that group personally, consider your communications in that group to be public. Act accordingly and don’t give any sensitive info you wouldn’t want someone unfriendly to read

Word on the street is that DHS is staying at the Porter Hilton at 1355 SW 2nd Ave, Portland OR and there are going to be noise demos tonight between 11pm and 5am and every other night until they leave!

Wild that the "underfunded" and "understaffed" Portland Police Bureau is able to send eight patrol vehicles and dozens of officers to harrass kids doing donuts. 300 million a year for an under 10% clearance rate, but don't drift your car or Joe Beatshiswife from Battleground will fuck you up.
And now there's like 15 Portland Police officers aiming guns at children and yelling conflicting orders from 30 feet away. Truly such a pathetic and cowardly police force. Giving the Uvalde Police Department a run for their money.

On October 27th 2024 I cut Piper Smith or @yourfriendpiper off. This was after witnessing a number of behaviors which I viewed as both dangerous and abusive. Including lying, manipulating, triangulated, sharing non safety related signal screenshots, context collapsing, and many others.
White people say crime is the problem even when crime rates are low. They’re really just using the word “crime” to garner public support for over policing of black communities.
One of the biggest failures of 2020 is how we all let a bunch of upper middle class white losers gain followings, control, and insider access to local activist scenes bc they posted really hard about theoretically caring about black people being executed in the streets online
Just gonna say that if you see someone in your white majority activist spaces constantly beefing with the handful of people of color within and trying to paint us all as a threat to safety, while tokenizing our literature to posture during arguments, you should raise an eyebrow and ask questions
Because for every abuser who does legitimately have BPD or bipolar or autism there are hundreds if not thousands of other people out there right now with that same diagnosis and same or similar symptom profile, but lacking the key ingredient: entitlement
