Oh fgc is definitly like... an ADDITIONAL layer of complication due to the usual requirement of rapid multiple inputs! Which usually isn't great regardless of modern controls existance tbh (although i think modern controls help in this context), and, then you might have visual processing stuff?
it wouldn't surprise me if a major reason this is the connection people are making is the use of a variation of calling people "dogshit" at videos games and stuff being recognized by simple word association... which is super dumb...
oh for the record. This is a person that struggles with accessibility support in video games... as a certified IT tech...
