there is a massive problem where men just don't listen to women at all, and as men it is up to us to shut misogyny down when we see it and not leave that up entirely to women. not quietly, not in private "civil" conversation, we need to be telling these men to fuck off with our entire beings.
like if a woman is talking about a shitty experince she had don't butt in to remind her that ~good~ men exist. you aren't being helpful, you're just proving her point.
i think that instead of insisting to women that there are good men out there and shutting down conversations men should just be more loudly pro-feminist.
