we replace "Get started" with "Dashboard" if your instance ID is set in localStorage. if not, the button doesn't change. (though there's a login link in the account menu intended to help point you there.)
unified auth between website and app would solve this - it's just... on the (very long) list!😅
the code colors in dark mode - definitely a bug. does it fix on refresh? should be good in light mode regardless (hit \ to toggle).
wdym login for dashboard? button to access the app should be in the header bar top right. or just type app.posthog.com to access directly!

literally none of this is the smoking gun you think it is. the site was renamed from that to what it is today not even three weeks ago.
if you scroll back far enough, you can read the context as to the avatar she used to use.
