⚡️US joins Russia, China in opposing IAEA resolution condemning attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
The U.S. voted against a resolution condemning attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure during a meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors on March 5.
They are criminals they are not useless.
Russia will bomb more Ukrainian apartment buildings, the war will last longer, and your own negotiation process will be even more useless because of this.
Trump just lifted (or reduced) sanctions on Russia. He will always side with Putin.
Crushingly predictable. Utterly unjustified by decades of research. A shibboleth in place of a policy.
Ukraine should tell them: “we need all our drone fighters specialists here because you have done nothing to stop the war unlike what you promised during election campaign, learn how to shoot them down on your own USA!”
Translation: he didn't have enough weapons to fight his war of choice and so he is blaming Ukraine
Many are no longer affiliated so it’s mostly a RW talking point. In any case they represent WORKERS, ie most of us who reside in UK and pay UK taxes. They are regulated &mostly transparent. This guy is in the Panama papers for evasion, doesn’t live in the UK or pay UK taxes. SO NOT LIKE THE UNIONS.
Last year when I was checking into a hotel, the desk person was wearing Meta glasses. I kindly asked them to take them off. They were annoyed. I said, “I do not consent to you looking at my credit card and ID with Meta glasses on.” My instincts were correct: www.bbc.com/news/article...
They don’t even teach “UK History” they do the Tudors and WWII about 3 times and that’s it. I was astonished to realise my English educated daughters knew less about their history than I did receiving my Education in Italy.
How did they vote in the N. East? I know it seems petty but……
This wouldn’t be happening if the UK electorate hadn’t fallen for Farage’s foolishness already in 2016 and voted for Brexit www.ft.com/content/ac75...
It's Day 1471 of the war in Europe.
Ukraine fights on - oh how it fights.
Russia is still making marginal gains on the battlefield but the tide is turning and the degradation of Russia's air defence is unmistakable.
What will today bring? Let's find out.
Cue Tim's daily thread
It’s just a black coat, an ugly one at that.
FT comments section this morning - saying what everyone else is thinking, right?
This is someone treating military action as a game - staggering lack of seriousness at a very serious time
Incredibly telling Kemi Badenoch interview on Today:
- can’t say what she’d actually want UK forces to do
- no idea what objective her proposed military action is to achieve
- hides from reality that single biggest constraint on British military = her govt’s defence cuts
Big money has bought British politics
75% of Reform’s money has come from three rich white men

Donated money he managed to lauder through Panama, bet the Daily Mail is not going to have that on its front page.
Disgraceful. Don’t take this the wrong way, I don’t want any casualties, but I would really not be completely upset if a few Iranian drones made it through just to bring home to the Americans what the Ukrainians hv had to put up with for 4 years.
Must be so sad to be Ukrainian and witness the USA burn through more missile interceptors in the first five days of the illegal war it started against Iran than it contributed to Ukraine's defence in the past 4 years.
With the United States focused on its conflict with Iran, Ukraine could face a critical shortage of US air defense missiles at a time when Russia shows no signs of easing its campaign of striking Ukrainian cities reut.rs/4bmrk6l
BREAKING: New York City reports the lowest levels of shootings, shooting victims, and murders ever recorded for the first two months of a year. Major crime is down nearly 8% citywide, burglary hit a record low, and retail theft dropped 25%
Yes he is a populist of the left, he is anti establishment by being against big corporations. Polanski thinks he can replace Labour he needs to be quizzed on his policies, details need to be added. In my Council when it came to it,the Greens propped up Tory minority council to get the Mayor position.
Are people aware on his position on NATO, Nuclear deterrence (especially in light of Russia etc), his position on drugs, his position on taxing all Air travel. He doesn’t even know the difference between deficit and debt. He is NOT a serious politician. People need to know!
He is a populist because his policies are driven by the “belly” as we say in Italy. He gives easy, pleasing answers to much more complex problems; i.e. let us tax billionaires (I don’t disagree) but even if we taxed them more it wd not solve all our funding problems.
Labour MP Matt Western points the finger at Nigel Farage (implicitly) on political finance in the Commons: "We must ensure that the fees and salaries that companies pay MPs in whatever field, but particularly in media, fall under political finance regulations." (It's a fair point!)
Kemi BadEnoch: “MORE WAR…LESS WELFARE!”…
That’s her ‘priorities’.
Dreadful, just dreadful!
