The today is the 63rd anniversary of Sylvia Plath’s death.

Posting my collection of her books in remembrance of her incredibly influential genius (The Monsters Among Us would be quite different if I did not first read The Bell Jar!)

I may have some good news to share soon. But I'm recovering from surgery this week. So I'm just sharing some small moments of things I do when I need to refresh or reset my mindset as a writer for today's peek-behind-the-curtain moment. Puzzling and enjoying my book dragon quilt while reading.

I've been taking a video for fiction writers class on savvyauthors.com. So far, it's helped me generate good ideas for videos that I have yet to create. That's all I can share for a peek-behind-the-curtain. Since I don't have any videos to share here's a funny poem by Shel Silverstein instead.

Another review is up! This one is a historical mystery for middle school readers by Ruta Sepetys & Steve Sheinkin. Set during WWII at Bletchley Park, a brother and sister struggle to overcome their estrangement & Lizzie works to unravel the truth about what really happened to their mom.
