Two years ago I randomly walked into a room at PAX East two and by complete chance met @grundislav.games. I gushed about my love of Lamplight City like the point and click loving millennial that I am.
I'll ping him about an interview!
Thanks Sam! This wouldn't exist if not for our endless wittering on in coffee shops.
Aww thank you! This was my first ever shot at doing something like this, so I really appreciate the feedback. More to come. Let me know if there is a topic you'd like to see covered!
I don't know what this is? Please educate me.
Thank you for the reflections! This was my first piece like this so glad you enjoyed it.
I have done a great interview with Nina Freeman who wrote for Lost Records which will be coming out soon and i'm chipping away at doing a piece with the good folks at Don't Nod. Appreciate the suggestion!!
Thanks for the kind words noodle!
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only dev with a deep-seated belief in the power of a sittable chair. To add to my thoughts in the video: I think in-game sittable chairs allow devs to be gracious hosts to their players, to help them feel welcome to an experience without an expectation to act.🪑

There were a lot of questions I had for you that were a long time coming!! Really enjoyed this chat.
I recently spoke with the excellent Steven Lake for his new documentary and interview series, @theexaminedgame.bsky.social —the 7 minute documentary is now live, and you can hear me talk about Uncharted 2's "peaceful village" sequence right here! www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_hr...
Steven drew some things out of me about this that I haven't said before... if you want to hear our full discussion, you can listen to that here: www.podpage.com/the-examined... Thank you for the thoughtful conversation, Steven! @theexaminedgame.bsky.social
