My second attempt at making bai tang gao, Chinese steamed rice cake. My first attempt went down the food disposal since I messed up the steaming, but this one was actually edible (I got a real steamer for it lol)! Still a bit dense in some areas, but we will make adjustments and try again!

six hours later and I can say “rv there yet” is a very difficult but very fun game to play with friends. We’re not even through our first map 🥲 I laughed till I cried seeing the little bodies get flung up when detonating land mines

My bed has become a nest of blankets, I have a space heater plus two cozy cats plus plus my steam deck to play silly games with friends. It’s a pretty good ice day.
