Revolutionary ideas take time to catch on, they require people to think differently. Gary Chapman’s 5 Love Languages came out in 1992..it didn’t explode until the 2000s, when people started talking about it organically. Same w Daniel Goleman Emotional Intelligence and Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits.
