The killing of Iranian children during an illegal war is an impeachable offense (not to mention a grave crime) and Congress should really act like it.

15 Republicans in the Senate could end this nightmare before it somehow gets even worse.

I’m straight up saying the government lies and withholds.

And I’d wager the majority of the time not sharing is their preferred choice.

Hell, some politicians won’t even attend town halls.

Transparency in politics is wholly lacking.

Ranked 12th company in the world by Forbes 500.

Only Fortune 500 company large enough to buck the trend of publicly stealing from customers.

Yup.
People should’ve read Project2025 before 11/5/2024.
Then *none* of this would be happening now.

Imagine if the churches weren’t protected under β€œClergy Privilege” laws?

Actually, it’s less of β€œhow much should we share with the people” and more like β€œdo we have to tell the people”.

And we’re all reactionaries on here based on the breadcrumbs they’re β€œbrave” enough to share with us.

To your point, Congress doesn’t tell us much that actually goes on behind the curtain, which is fundamentally a problem.

Trump out there moving his people like Noem around just like the Catholic Church do after their priests are exposed for heinous crimes.

So far the war in Iran has cost an estimated $5.5 billion.

That's roughly $1 billion per day.

$41,666,667 per hour.

$11,574 per second.

People do not want this.

They want a living wage. They want healthcare. They want to be able to afford a home. They want their basic needs met.

When ICE came, Minneapolis created underground health networks. Should other cities? The Trump administration's immigration crackdown in Minneapolis forced some families into hiding and catalyzed informal medical networks to deliver critical health care services inside homes.

The answer is yes, obviously. www.npr.org/2026/03/05/n...

I’ve spent years, decades, obsessing over the Bush Administration’s Iraq WMD lies, writing about them, debunking them.

I can think of no lie about Iraq WMDs told by Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld et al that comes even close to the enormity and absurdity of this lie from Donald Trump.

AOC: He impulsively went in on Venezuela. He impulsively went in on Iran. It led to increased global instability and every time he’s done that, it has been consistent with a spike in what is happening with the Epstein files. I think that he feels existentially tied to it.

Reddit post: I’m a diehard hbo fan. It’s the only streaming service I’ve kept consistently for the past decade. I’ll get Netflix for a month , but there’s a noticeable different in quality and creative content like immediately. I watch black mirror again and, then cancel it every time that I try to give it another chance. I can rewatch hbo shows on repeat and catch new layers and new details every time. Netflix is not the same, not even close. Then we have the journalistic standards that paramount/cbs has easily thrown out the window to please our new king. This news is very sad to me. It already hurts to lose a news source that I used to genuinely respect and trust. HBO being censored (and it certainly will be w this new ownership) is a devastating blow. I’m not usually this affected when billion dollar corporations buy one another , but this is a big deal to me. I’m genuinely sad. First world problems? Maybe, but losing the freedom of the press and everything else our constitution is supposed to guarantee is precisely what will bring us to third world problems, even if it’s years away.

Eyeing affordability, board clears way for three-year degrees in Massachusetts Massachusetts approves regulation allowing three-year college degrees, aiming to lower costs and boost access, but some warn of quality concerns.

I have an idea. Instead of watering down education and allowing young adults opportunity to learn how to grow an appreciation of culture and their identity, we make school more affordable.
