Mine turned 18 in September. I was so excited to vote with him for the first time 😢. It is exciting to see them grow up but so hard to know they will be leaving soon.

Not to mention how crazy close the election was even with such a disadvantage trying to pull it together in such a short time. My biggest takeaway remains how to resolve the communications problem. When people know the policies they are largely popular.

Thank you! I definitely held back for a long time but perhaps that helped get us where we are today. Obviously not me alone 😂. I still seek good-faith discussions across different positions but rarely find it.

So I first joined the other place because I am a news and politics junkie. I lurked forever before discovering the #datafam. I decided to engage and made some great connections and friends. Over time things changed as they do but sadly not for the better. I am enjoying the reboot so far 😀

Loving the vibe here and thanks to all who have created awesome starter packs to help me grow the list of people I follow. Apologies to any who follow me for data as I hope to post more politics and news too. With any luck I can do both 😀
