Can't find this in your feed.
Great video interview on casualties, writ large, WW1 through current Ukraine War with some great observations.
(I too often repeat the fact that pre-WW1 'everyone' was addicted to maneuver and yet...)

Interesting testimony on PLAN submarine development. Note comments on expansion of submarine production at three yards. Also on the mysterious Zhou-type produced by Wuchang in 2024, and of course PLAN rebalancing towards a significant nuclear powered submarine force.

Brilliant work mate! Great to wake up to, lol.
Hey, you, watch this; its fun:
I also enjoy Fallout 4 and Cyberpunk 2077.
Hope youβre good bro.
Not my video, but good nonetheless. JMSDF ShinMaywa US-2.
Seeing these and their predecessor (the US-1,) departing or landing at NAF Atsugi was always awesome.
"Show what you looked like before you joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine."
Ukrainian Defenders share photos from before they joined the military and after.

Spanberger: "Trump continues to cede economic power and technological strength to Russia, bow down to China, bow down to a Russian dictator, and make plans for a war with Iranβ¦Is the president working to keep Americans safe both at home and abroad? We all know the answer is no."
That explains a lotβ¦
Ironic right...
There is also the much repeated lack of SEAL fatalities in RVN...
Always alarmed me, especially compared to the high casualties everywhere else.
Very interesting, my assumption from what I had found was their very small platoons and total manpower kept their contribution to this small.
Rewatched many edits many times but need to watch this!
IMO, the genius move is smashing the Green beret murder case into Heart of Darkness by a 'liberal' right wing loonie (Milius in a mostly good way). Directed by a genius atmospheric/ we are a family guy.
Yep, good find. He himself was the III Corp Marine I was thinking of. His book lists 40-odd Marines, half NCOs. Mostly, as you say I Corps.
Good references are:
Phoenix and the Birds of Prey, Mark Moyar
Marine Advisors with the Vietnamese PRU 1966-70, Col Andrew Finlayson
This is my head canon.
I'm also not sure they were that coherently assigned. I think I remember at least one Marine in III Corps near the border... very few SEALs istr.
Several Marine Recon NCOs were in Phoenix. There are cases I've heard of other services in SOG, but tough to really prove as it was filled by 5th Group. There were some small p[rojects with different numbers that ran boats, helicopter etc.
ICE whistleblower Ryan Schwank, a former ICE instructor and attorney, testifies that agents were trained to disregard constitutional rights.
That VAR ref earned a suspension imo. Hassani crushed that goal, regular box activitiesβ¦
I did a week+ canoe trip out of Ely into the Boundary Waters, in 1978 or so, with my Boy Scout Troop 172 from San Jose, California.
It was an epic and formative experience. Protect it for the next kids β adventures.
"President Trump wants to attack Iran but the USS Gerald Ford's toilets are clogged with shit" is the sentence I blurt out as soon as I travel back in time to the 1990s.
I am immediately and, quite understandably, tased.
Whatβs apparent to those of us who live in the actual world is that itβs not liberalism, but *unbridled capitalism* that has exhausted itself. It is responsible for:
-Corruption of our elections
-Untenable & growing income inequality
-Gutting of institutions to extract capital, leaving them hollow
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing people local newspaper reporters are rarified elites instead of ink-stained wretches driving their Honda Civic to a crime scene so you know donβt have to rely on Nextdoor and the police press release.
