Check local spots for possible "discount" computer stores, its not great but depending on what is needed like, there is a "goodwill" store here specifically set up for computer equipment.

But overall this situation is a bit ridiculous, isn't it?
For mom I am 85% certain she had undiagnosed ADHD all her life and something like smoking helps calm her brain/lets her focus, keeps her alert, and so forth. Having that is so big (as someone who has meds for her own ADHD)
If she had medicines it may have been different!
For those that smoke.
IE I like edibles, I dont like smoking the devil's lettuce, but I also will puff gently on a friend's penjamin (vape) if offered, because the cough/strong smell is dampened.
My mom was a smoker- 3 or 4 cigs a day. I always thought it smelled terrible and gave me a sore throat and many times- when young- I asked her to quit. She finally did about 10 years ago but I think the effect of the smoking- fixation, nicotine for relaxation and addiciton- supersedes everything-
