Trumpβs bombing of Iran is reckless and a direct threat to American and Iranian lives. Launching military strikes without congressional authorization or evidence of an imminent threat is not strength. It is an abuse of power.
Tell your Members of Congress to put an immediate stop to this war.
The U.S. Senate must be clear: no war with Iran.
All hands on deck, folks. This will effectively eliminate all books by queer authors and about queer lives, even books with secondary characters, books where the author or a character uses they/them pronouns. This bill will erase identities and harm kids. And it won't stop at public schools.
I was unaware of this until now. But I did just learn about the new SCOTUS ruling that postal workers canβt be sued over intentionally not delivering mail. The ability to vote is becoming harder. Know your rights and spread the word.
Itβs a YA anthology. It came out a couple of years ago. I meant to read it sooner but my tbr is out of control lol.
βOut of our league,β the anthology about girls in sports.
Reading a YA anthology is hard because there are a few short stories I would absolutely love a full book for. Yes, theyβre also perfect short stories, but Iβm obsessed with the characters and want more π©
I just saw βNewsiesβ for the first time on stage and it reminded how much I wouldβve loved to play Katherine. Iβm an okay singer but I canβt tap dance. Other dream roles include Cosette in βLes Mis,β Sophie in βMamma Mia,β and a Council Member (if I could dance like I used to) in βHairspray.β
Hi #cupit ππ» If I like your tweet please query me! Submission guidelines are in my pinned thread.
AI could never do what an actual human writer does. AI could never do what I do as an editor and agent. And AI could absolutely never do what artists do.
Iβve heard of The Frozen River! Two of the books I absolutely loved are βA Baristaβs Guide to Love and Larcenyβ and βThe Trade Deadline.β
I actually counted wrong and reread twelve books. But I did read four really good new books too.
Being in a pseudo-reading slump is rough. Iβve read some new books Iβve been extremely excited about, but Iβve also reread eleven books since the start of the year.
Here are the SFA submission guidelines on how to query me:

#MSWL True yearning and an intense emotional slow burn like βHeated Rivalryβ by Rachel Reid or βAssistant to the Villainβ by Hannah Nicole Maehrer. And yes, I think βHRβ is still a slow burn love despite the quick physical intimacy.
#MSWL A YA that encapsulates the song βWho Iβd Beβ from Shrek the Musical, specifically the Rachel Zegler Miscast Version.
#MSWL A book akin to βThe Apothecary Diaries.β Think June Hurβa historical mystery with a slow burn romance, preferably in an underrepresented location and culture.
#MSWL A YA thriller/mystery in the vein of Angeline Boulley with deep layers of character, story, and theme.
#MSWL A YA contemporary with new Deb Caletti vibes.
#MSWL An MG with βThe Naturalsβ vibes for a younger reader. Standalone or standalone with series potential preferred.
#MSWL A relationship dynamic with Jack and Kim vibes from βKickin' It.β Bonus if itβs an MG crush/first love story. If you know, you know.
#MSWL An NA or YA in the vein of βWhistleblower,β βLove, Off the Record,β or βMost Eligibleβ with hard-hitting investigative journalism and/or wild undercover antics. As a former college newspaper editor, Iβd love a unique, never-been done story and complex, compelling characters.
Happy February! Iβm still open to queries! Reposting my MSWL and the thread of some of my dream #MSWL items again. Yes, this thread is repeated and I donβt care. I look forward to reviewing all your submissions!

How you can support resistance efforts in Minneapolis through literary activism.
That, plus this week's book censorship news: bookriot.com/supporting-m...
ICE has killed 9 folks in the first 26 days of β26:
β’ Alex Pretti
β’ Renee Good
β’ Keith Porter
β’ Heber Sanchaz DomΓnguez
β’ Victor Manuel Diaz
β’ Parady La
β’ Luis Beltran Yanez-Cruz
β’ Luis Gustavo Nunez Caceres
β’ Geraldo Lunas Campos
They all deserve justice. And for us to remember their names.
As we grieve for Alex Pretti and Renee Good in MN, please do not forget Victor Manuel Diaz, who died in ICE custody after being taken from here. And all others who have died in their custody.
Alex Pretti was an American hero. He saved lives. He protected people. He cared deeply about his community, unlike the murderous thugs who killed him.
The very last thing he did was try to help a woman who had been pepper-sprayed and violently shoved to the ground by ICE. 1/
From this moment forward (and before, but clearly now):
-If you work for ICE.
-If you vote for money for ICE.
You are complicit. This is the gestapo. You're on the wrong side. You can't pretend not to know.
I am watching what is happening in Minneapolis on Ali Velshi and one of the ICE officers (off camera) literally says, βItβs like Call of Duty. Pretty cool huh?β as they shoot whatever it is they are shooting. Agents walking around, guns unholstered for no reason. This is insanity
