I've struggled to make friends or feel comfortable in some art spaces because there's a point where they dont care about the art or person- just gain. It makes it difficult to feel connect with people over things that should bring us together like art, interests, even just care and passion.

This is completely understandable. Its insane how hard it is to find genuine uplifting and supporting people who aren't out for some other hidden gain. I haven't seen all of what transpired, but it hurts to see the community lack that love and support. Why is it so hard for people to be just kind.
