I discovered my deranged comedy-smut I write for fun published under my erotica pen name has more reviews than my non-smut books.

Few better feeling when writing!

I live in a pretty rural area, so the romance and western sections are the largest, but I was happy to find a little hidden copy of Murakami's Norwegian Wood, which has been on my list to read for awhile if only because I have a casual interest in Japanese literature and I've heard it's his best.

Terrible (wonderful) news. I've been back to Half-Price Books.

Fantasy was slim pickin's, horror was even slimmer if you wanted beyond King and Koontz, but I'm always happy to expand my literary fiction collection (and whatever genre Earth's Children is)

I think I'll find some way to use it as promotional materials because I do like it, but I can't render and shade for shit, to be honest.

Plus, i think fantasy romance is always better when you have some visual basis for how the characters are supposed to look.

I'm what you would call an "okay, but need practice" artist and chronically poor. So of course there was a world where I thought I'd just draw the covers for Rootbound Hearts, but they never look polished enough when I finish and I suck at typography.
