Wrote somewhere new because it's gotten dark and cold and making the uphill slog to the library is getting draining. It wasn't too bad. A little uncomfortable cause it was close to an external door and the place itself was a little loud, but I'll bring my headphones next time. Got 1.3K words out.

Plush, heavy mattresses on thick, sturdy frames. After readying for the night, Prince Kamau had led him to one, sat him down, leaned in close, and planted his lips right in the middle of Bai's forehead without bothering to ask for permission. The feeling had been just as magical as the first time, weightlessness, tingling, the sensation of a warm and comforting energy flowing into some deep and unknown part of him that seemed bottomless. And Bai had allowed himself to surrender to it. Including the side effects that seemed to want to drive all the blood in his body to a particular spot. He'd been wanting something. Comfort? Reassurance? In the moment, a thought surprised him. He wouldn't mind being used tonight, if the Prince was the one to use him. Bai had even risked resting his hand on Prince Kamau's chest, hoping to urge him to continue. Though just as quickly as he was caught up in the moment, it stopped. Prince Kamau had pulled away, towering over him with an expression Bai couldn't read if he wanted to. "I'm sorry, Bai Youling," Prince Kamau had said. "I have a little more business before I can retire for the night, but we start early tomorrow. You should get some sleep if you can." And with that, Prince Kamau had left. And Bai, all alone in the echoingly empty plush bedroom, with a body embarrassingly aching to be touched, had not gotten much sleep at all.
Confession: I majored in art in college, but I'm not well practiced in the whole " #drawing " thing. Still, found this ref by #278Byaedeok and knew I had to give a shot at showing Bai Youling and Prince Kamau from my #wip The Prince's Prized Possession.

Commuting and going to bed are prime character thinking times! A lot of times I get good ideas at work, too. I try not to let my mind wander at work though, because something dangerous could happen 😅

So sleepy. Just finished crocheting a thing to test some presentation things out. Don't know if I'll ever feel confident enough to wear it in public. I feel like I'm in a safe place to experiment though, so we'll see.
