Well, Excel can host around 1 million rows. Maybe they can build their warehouse using different Excel files for each day? I'd suggest then to reference those files in a dictionary hosted on Access.

- Count of customers? -> Customer dimension
- Sales YTD? -> Sales fact
If I ever need a dedicated measure table, I always name it "π Measures" because who doesn't love the positive vibe of emojis π
