I have a soft spot for Lovecraftian-related strangeness which led me to try out the demo for Cyclopean II for Steam Next Fest. The potential framework for otherworldy RPG feels engaging so far for me, really enjoyed the retro feel. Can also recruit cats (if i have cream) who also help keep me sane!

How do you like the results with the babble? My only vrcft experience has been with the quest pro and I've been curious how these stack up. Side note, how do you power the index speakers? Are they just a usb device?

VR has the most "friction" between not playing the game and playing even with just the headset. Dealing with the Meta OS then going into steamlink / virtual desktop is a pain and the most common vr experience for most pcvr users. Hoping for more steamvr native equipment in the future.

the watchers: how openai, the US government, and persona built an identity surveillance machine that files reports on you to the feds 53MB of source code leaked from a government endpoint. 269 verification checks. biometric face databases. SAR filings to FinCEN. and the same company that verifies your ChatGPT account.

so it turns out that the identity verification provder persona, with its well documented links to peter thiel from the epstein files and palintir, is keeping all data of targets and linking them to intelligence databases and watch lists, exactly like you suspected

β€’ IOh
We just found out our AI has been making up
analytics data for 3 months and I'm gonna
throw up.
Support
So we've been using an Al agent since November to
answer leadership questions about metrics. It seemed
amazing at first fast answers, detailed explanations,
everyone loved it.
I just found out it's been hallucinating numbers this
entire time.
Our VP of sales made territory decisions based on
data that didn't exist. Our CFO showed the board a
deck with fake insights. The Al was just inventing
plausible sounding percentages.
I only caught it by accident when someone asked me
to double check something. I started digging, and
holy shit, it's bad.

15 materials cap would be a dream come true for loading avis 😌 and it's not hard to to keep the count down if done from the beginning

VRC should extend the "poor" rank poly count to 140k imo and make a hard cap on materials at 32. Polys have a low impact on performance compared to materials and physbone collisions. That and some tool to tweak your generated fallback.

Here's a regular white guy (literally "Chad") not a protester. because, "It seemed pointless, or just a way for people to expiate their sense of guilt." Chad witnessed something shattering. And, that all changed in a moment.

Excellent article!

Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.
