Probably my favourite book of Andrew Joseph White! Loved the characters especially Lady and Dallas and the book overall way suspenseful and shocking!

Book 17 Camp Damascus by Chuck Tingle
Was hoping to enjoy this book more but I found it quite mid
It took me a while to get immersed in the story. The later half of the book was really good though!

So chilling!! Read most of it at night and it was the first time I was freaked out from a book in a while
Loved the main character and wanted to punch every producer and person from the team that was trespassing on the island

Kinda creepy with complex characters, I enjoyed and thought the villain/monster aspect was done really well!

Loved this book!! Read as an audiobook and the narrator was brilliant!
Watching what's happening in Gaza and reading the new hunger games book at the same time is gutting.
When I read these as a kid, none of it was real to me. Now, kids being murdered by a brutal regime is all too real.
Reading is absolutely political.

Started watching #Severance and it’s really fucking with my head lmao
I was going to see a matinee and then realised there are only 3 and none interest me 😅😅

Enjoyed this but sometimes found Nicks narrator throwing me out of the story and then taking ages for me to get back into it
Would have probably preferred reading this as an ebook or using my physical copy but still a great read! #booksky
It fucked with my brain in the best way I cannot wait to rewatch it
Also as someone doing a masters in gender and sexuality there is so much potential here for a thesis lol
Book 12 - Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
I honestly can’t decide whether mockingjay or catching fire is my favourite of the series
It’s such a tough decision since so much goes on in both books
I might lean more towards catching fire though since lack of fave character deaths 😅😅
Hoping that now that I finished the series that these next few days in work will go by a bit quicker knowing that I’ll be thinking of ideas for the essays
Might try and nab some paper from the till to write down ideas too 😅
