It's also important to keep your browser up-to-date to avoid attacks targeting patched exploits. Whatever browser you run, make sure it's set up to be updated. You don't want to be running a 10-mo old browser if you value your privacy. For Android browsers, notabug.org/Tobiwan/ffup... is an option.
This is for general use mind you; for privacy-critical applications and the deeply paranoid, Tor Browser remains the gold standard (on Android too).
Since LibreWolf is still Firefox at heart, you can enable sync with other gecko browsers, such as Mull on Android f-droid.org/packages/us.... and you can self-host sync (guide upcoming).
Wondering what privacy-preserving browser to use?
My recommendation is librewolf.net on desktop. For Android, have a look at divestos.org/pages/browsers and make up your own mind.
Stop what you're doing right now and read this. @ryanjhaas.bsky.social reports that a new hell has reached Oregon - an entire newspaper that is run by AI, poaching the identities of real journalists to look like it has a staff, and repurposing the work of reporters (including yours truly).
