And now it's out, and you can listen to it!
And now it's out, and you can listen to it!
Hey! My first full episode! Our audio team and actors did a phenomenal job, I can't wait for people to hear it.
("It" being the one-shot episode, Kinbasket. I can't talk too much about what we're on aside from the audio drama stuff yet, but looking forward to when I can!)
Aw thank you so much. I hope you enjoy it! (I was lucky Sarah, who did the acting, and Andrew, who did our sound design and a lot of the music, put so much effort into what was essentially a one-shot I proposed out of the blue.)
Haha, I don't deserve such a fine animated gif!
Thank you Erin! There is nothing nicer to hear than that a character stayed in someone's head.
Thanks for listening! Very glad you dug it, I've long wanted to do something like this.
This week's episode's cover is made from a real-world acrylic painting done (and thankfully filmed in process) back in 2023. Does this make the art "better" or "prettier" than if I just asked A.I. to spit something out? Honestly, maybe not. But, at least to me, it means more.
I recommend listening when it gets dark out.
(I'm over the moon at how great it sounds-Andrew Sutherland did an amazing job with the sound design and music, and we also have music by Chris Scott too. Blessed with two composers.)

And we're live! Here's our one-off eerie audio drama titled "Kinbasket." (With fantastic cover art by Sarah-that's a real life painting!)
Here's a youtube link, apple podcast in the next post.

@sylviafeketekuty.bsky.social 's experimental audio drama Episode "Kinbasket" is now live! Strange and spooky, this is a wonderful jumping in point to the story as it's entirely self-contained.
We'll resume Season 2 of "The Concierge" with Episode 2 coming next month!

Fun facts:
-Thank you to Sarah for voicing this on short notice and letting me write a weird side story like this.
-And huge thank you to Andrew for all the keen sound work!
-I now know more about the Columbia River Treaty than I ever thought I would.
Check out this trailer for the eerie one-shot podcast episode I got to write! It comes out in a few days. I'm excited.
It's set in the same world as Concierge: Postmortem, but you can listen to this one on its own, we give you a bit of grounding text at the start.

I'm really looking forward to this episode coming out, but what Sarah said.
Haha, absolutely meant in the finest way possible! (It was some really effective writing, given how few times it's referenced! I almost wish there were more documents to scope out, but I admire how tight the game's narrative delivery is.)
That's the one that haunted me the most, somehow. Bleeerggg.
@skelicopter.bsky.social Probably going to hibernate on this account soon, but just finished Occlude so I wanted to say:
1. It was great! Lovely mood, wonderful music, a perfect eerie treat.
2. Jesus CHRIST what is up with the Cleaner.
I somehow missed this for a year. These are actually all good questions, I don't even know the answer!
(I at least feel like if Vorgoth WAS bothered by being in water, they'd never vocalize it. Myrna could probably tell though.)
Got another dump of snowfall in Edmonton this morning. Season 2 Episode 1 is a little delayed todayβ¦ becauseβ¦ ofβ¦ snow? Yes. Snow. βοΈ π
Thank you Nixmori, happy holidays to you as well!
(I looked at all the art in the thread, all the pieces are fantastic. I just didn't want to spam with comments on each one!)
@nickboraine.bsky.social (Retagging you because it didn't hyperlink properly the first time lol, sorry)
Aw goodness. Thank you so much @nickboraine ! I was tremendously lucky to have an actor who immediately got the character so well, and embodied him with such skill and care. Love to work together again one day as well.
(And thank you for passing this on Lizzie, that's very kind!)
The colours here are so good. Goodness I do like that rendition of them together, what a fantastic actor Cushing was.
You're very welcome. And my goodness, that art is fantastic. That first picture in the thread particular looks so much like vintage art, you must have put a lot of work into perfecting that sort of tone. Thank you for the kind words, and for sharing it with me!

Aw thank you Caitie!
Thank you so much Linny! (Emmrich himself would be tremendously flattered to read that.)
FUN FACT: I begged Sarah to remove some of my swearing when I realized, to my horror, that my family might listen to this. (Thank you, Sarah.)
