(3/2) Also, You don't deserve to feel this way. the fact you've gotten this far despite everything, and still care so much about the community, is a testament to you. I rlly want to see things through, you can do it, jus remember you matter too.

(2/2) A small amount of self-doubt is normal, It can encourage careful preparation, and spark motivation to improve. BUT too much can be debilitating and/or cause one to work overtime, burnout ensues. Finding ways to deal with such is difficult. I hope you can find your way to recover emotionally ๐
It's easy to say "jus' ignore 'em" but I personally know how hard that can be. I can feel like I'm doing a good thing that is actively benefit those around me, Jus' for a small portion of people to say otherwise, and all of a sudden it feels like my work is worthless.. (1/2)
I'm happy to announce the @resonite.com SDK for Unity Editor is now out in beta! :D
There's still some jank and it needs more converters, but you can start messing with it (and even contributing)

omg yes more music visualizers in resonite
I'm pretty sure the screenshots shown are of my review, and if you actually read it, you'd realize that not only was I NOT a fan of Park/Sketch, but I was also a victim of their harassment campaigns, turning everyone against me. Imo Sketch's ban was deserved, and I will not argue further.

Never stop being you!
and this is with my own issues too, sometimes i need time to myself, or time around those i trust in small groups, to handle my own irrationality in a healthy way.
humans are emotional creatures, so therefore logic and facts alone will not convince everyone, sometimes you gotta actually try to connect with them on a personal level and get to know them before they will even consider listening to you, and that takes time and energy i do not always have.
sure there are times where i do wanna make stuff, but that doesnt mean i cannot socialize while i do so.
people will often make up excuses.
like "reso is jus for vrc people who want to make shit all the time", and while that is true for some people, i find myself not wanting to make shit all of the time, rather I usually vibe, socialize, cuddling, and the like. How I play goes against that logic.

I say "near" as there are people out there that can explain things better, either in the moment or after calming down, tho imo there are nowhere near enough people like that, and those kinds of people are not always around either.
this is why helping platforms improve can be hard, most people, me included at times, will get emotional and frustrated when encountering issues and friction points, and then being told to detail exactly what the issue is while in such state is near impossible. its jus part of the human condition.
id also like to add, jus because someone keeps running into bugs and issues and friction points, doesnt make them a good quality assurance tester. what makes a good QA person is their ability to describe and explain the issues at hand whilst remaining calm and collected, alot of people cant do that.

anywho i am rambling at this point. this is how i am, my default. i think all the time, and most of the time this thought rambling does not stress me like it would most people as i am used to it, its all ive ever known. i am silly bean. x3
At some point it makes me wonder..
Is it worth it to help stubborn people see what I see?
Or is It better for me to keep supporting the platform where I can as things develop further internally, not trying to "convince" people.
Truly I do not know.
Helping people see past their preconceived bias and willful ignorance towards something is an issue that cannot be easily tackled and there is no easy way to go about it.
People are too quick to hate on Resonite due to how different it can appear to be on the surface, and this links back to the first post in this thread as I was also once the same, but as soon as I allowed myself to see Reso' as it truly is, I am not looking back.
Sure, Resonite has it's quirks it needs to work out, like IK/FBT, the supposedly "steep learning curve", and the like. But the kind of social interactions gained from how the platform works is unlike any other social vr platform i've invested my time into.
For me, Resonite is the Social VR platform I have been looking for all this time. The amount of creative freedom it provides to its users compared to other platforms makes it worth it for me.
This included me at one point in time, but as glad as I am to not be in that space anymore, I'd still go as far as to say that I'm no better than anyone else in the social vr scene.
gotta be fr, most die hard VRC/CVR users are insufferable as fuck.
kinda wish there was a name for the aesthetic I liked instead of telling people "I like the aesthetic that is the transition period between Y2K futurism and Frutiger Aero", 'cuzz I like aspects of both Y2K futurism and Frutiger Aero.
If there is a name for that, pls let me know xD
tfw a resonite session runs poorly cuzz the host's pc is connected to their internet via a congested 2.4g wifi connection
Did you know music with heavy sub-bass could be relaxing? 'cuzz I do x3
