Donna, I appreciate your objective feedback. Too often I forget how viewing things in B&W can bring a refreshing simpler perspective. Thankfully it’s easy to duplicate my favorite digital color photos, convert them to B&W, and adjust contrast, etc. It helps me see what scenarios are better for B&W

I love Blue Herons. In addition to fishing along the shores of Mutiny Bay on Whidbey Island, Washington, this Blue Heron regularly explores the nearby field where it feasts on worms. This photo captures him pulling up a worm from the grass.
